Been a while since my last journal. Been a bit busy out here, as of late. The last two months have been, well, something. I got a new job as a porter and detailer at the new Hyundai dealership in town at the beginning of October... and then got fired at the start of this month. I still fail to see what I did wrong enough to warrant being fired, but whatever. One less place to give my business to. Went back to my old job as a dishwasher the same day, so I didn't waste any time getting back on a payroll. My time back has been mostly enjoyable. I love my coworkers, and they make going to work worth every drop of sweat. Wish I could say the same about the environment at the dealership, where I felt like a considerable number of the people I worked with had it out for me, and probably did.
On to my life outside of work, I recently discovered the joys of clubbing. Went out to Sacramento with some friends a while back and had an absolute blast. Met some really cool people too. I need to go back out at some point, so I don't become a stranger to my new friends, heh.
The Super Pony's holding up well. Small increments of my paychecks have been going to little customization things, like a nicer-looking engine cover, and my awesome new license plate frame you've no doubt seen by now if you watch me. Also got some brand new tires, which I desperately needed. My trips to Sacramento were on really worn-out tires, and I had to drive with the fear of one blowing out on I-5 stuck in my head. Next on the list is a new windshield, and some window decals. Some will be pony, others will be car enthusiast things.
Saving to go to Indiana again, next year. My wonderful boyfriend and I want to get me out to Bloomington for a two-week period that includes Valentine's Day... or Hearts and Hooves Day, if you get into the pony holidays. I can't wait to see him and have that much time to be there with him. My last journal was made on my last day there during my visit in July, and we miss each other so much already. Also started a coin jar fund so save for when I move out to him. In a couple years, it's not going to be just vacations, anymore.
That's all for now, I've got work in about 45 minutes, so I have to get ready. Toodles!
